Hi I'm Cece. Here's a little about myself and Jewel Numkki.
I'm a designer, creator, artist, and a dreamer. I majored in Fashion Design and Merchandising at University of Hawaii Manoa where I co-created Acid Dolls. Acid Dolls is an urban street couture line of clothing that was created by me and Cindy King in 2003. After 2 years I moved to California and Cindy continues to pour love into Acid Dolls. I started dreaming of a clothing line that I could infuse all my creativity, style, and love into. Jewel Numkki is inspired by everything classic, vintage, and artistic. I also like to add a pinch of contemporary style into it to give a modern feel. Every piece is unique. Every piece has some sort of aspect to it that people will ooh and ah about it when you're wearing it. There's nothing better than feeling good in what you're wearing. Don't you agree? Most pieces that I create are one of a kind. I created Jewel Numkki to share my love for fashion and to share the feeling of wearing something special. I hope you all will enjoy JN as much as I do!

autumn begins

Too bad it's not happening in OC. Autumn offically started on the 22nd and it's still 98 degrees during the day. I love the cold weather. Cold weather brings layering of clothes, scarves, and cute boots.

I loooove it when people looooove my stuff. I also loooooove it when they look cute in it. This is one of my favorite peope in the world wearing JN.

It's been quite hectic with the etsy store opening. I've received a lot of "Can you make me..." requests. Although I like to keep my designs one-of-a-kind, I'll make exceptions for a few pieces. This past week was spent duplicating the Chirp apron for a wedding party. I never thought to give aprons as bridesmaid gifts, but it turned out really cute.
