spring is here

It has been here for over a month now, but it finally feels like spring. I also like to blog about things waaaay later anyway. We celebrated our very own spring baby Karissa's birthday last month and it was a very special one. We were finally able to wear some bright colors and be outdoors without a coat. The day started with brunch in Laguna, surprise event at my place, made cupcake in a cup, dinner and ended the night with a surprise party in the Barrel Room at Charlie Palmer. It was a success and I wish someone would send me a photo of Karissa's reaction!! I'll probably get it next year and I'll post about it then.

Happy Easter! Today was filled with lots of love from friends and family and I feel so blessed to have every single person in my life. It was also a rare day where I was able to spend the whole day with my husband! Every Easter I usually force him to color eggs with me, but my friend Anna came to his rescue and joined me instead.

save the date

I received my save the date card from one of my favorite couples. Look what Eri is wearing?! Her JN dress! It's a 2 of a kind dress because my sister has the long version of it. It's one of my favorite dresses and she looks so cute in it. Don't you just love the colors on this save the date card?

leather and fur

This was the theme of the night during Anna's birthday celebration. With no planning involved 2 girls wore leather and 2 of us wore fur. This gave us a lot of opportunities to take some silly pictures throughout the night. I'm only allowed to post just a few so here they are!

Plan for the night: We headed towards the beach for dinner then came back to Karissa's place for a slumber party. How old are we, you ask? We're not too old to have a sleepover after a night out away from our husbands/bfs and eat a pot full of ramen at 2am. However, we did realize we're too old to do that when we woke up bloated and feeling not too fabulous on our way to eat pho.

jn loves weddings

This post is a month late, but I have to congratulate my bestest friend Erica! Erica and Nolan(who happens to be one heck of a guy) got engaged on new years eve. I couldn't be happier for the couple. They are a perfect match and I can't wait for the wedding day! I have the honor of being the matron of honor and also the lucky task of creating Jewel Numkki dresses for all the bridesmaids!!
