jewel numkki blog is created!

Thank you for checking out Jewel Numkki. As I sit here watching an episode of Family Guy, I just created my first blog and an introduction to my clothing line Jewel Numkki.

Jewel Numkki(aka jul-nuhmkki) means jump rope in Korean. I just bedazzled up the word a bit. My clothing line consists of dresses, tops, skirts, and sometimes aprons. Aprons not because I like cooking, but because I just like cute aprons hanging in my kitchen and everyone should have one also. I create a lot of one of a kind pieces because no one wants to wear something that someone else has. Right? Especially to a wedding.

Like a jump rope, Jewel Numkki will make you feel carefree and young. Two simple wooden handles turned a single rope into one of the best past time activities when we were young girls. Next to hula hoops. I love hula hoops, but it would still translate into hula hoops in Korean and that's not too fun.
This is also seen in my clothing line. The simple body lines in the dresses will be turned into a piece of art with the addition to intricate handsewn applique and unique necklines.

Photos will be posted here before going on etsy. Please check back for them.

I hope you'll enjoy coming back to read the blogs also!
